About Teresa

Teresa’s obsession with all things horsey started in childhood and is still ever present today. She has been predominantly an eventer reaching up to 2* level, producing many young horses and taking a South-East Eventer’s League title. She has also ridden advanced dressage, ridden consistently at county level showing, trained point to pointers and been a member of the Mid-Surrey Farmers Drag for 20 years. I met Teresa Hemings four years ago when I started having lessons on the schoolmaster I had purchased from her. In this time she has taken me from happy hacker to a confident equestrian rider/competitor. She has taught me to become a rider rather than just a passenger, to feel when the horse is going correctly and to encourage me to continually improve myself and my riding. She has given me the confidence to go out and compete on a regular basis, teaching me techniques to gain those extra marks at competitions and continually support me with whatever discipline I choose to compete in. I find Teresa to have a natural empathy with horses and she is able to ride them to their best ability/potential. She has recently helped me find a young dressage horse which is now in training with her and which she competes on my behalf
